Key Responsibilities:– Lead a dynamic team of engineers, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
– Utilize your mastery of Solidworks and other CAD software to conceptualize and develop cutting-edge helmet designs.
– Oversee the complete product development cycle from initial concepts to final production.
– Employ computer simulations to rigorously test new helmet designs, ensuring top-notch safety and performance characteristics.
– Create detailed and accurate prototypes using 3D printing, CNC machines, injection moulding, and thermoforming techniques.
– Conduct meticulous inspections of prototypes to identify areas for improvement, and incorporate design refinements accordingly.
– Collaborate with the R&D team, incorporating feedback and optimizing the designs for peak performance.
Requirements:– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
– Proven experience designing and surface design preferred in helmets or other high-performance motorsport events.
– Expertise in Solidworks and other CAD software to create intricate and precise designs.
– Strong knowledge of 3D printing, CNC machining, injection moulding, and thermoforming.
– Adept at conducting computer simulations to validate designs before physical prototyping.
– Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of engineers.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
